We are three Library School students studying to earn our Masters degrees with hopes of working as Young Adult Librarians.
Alexandra Doyle Bauer is a mother to her 16 month old son and is awaiting the birth of her daughter around Christmas 2011. She is also a full time graduate student. Books have always been a huge part of her life and she is passing on the tradition down to her kids. Reading Rocks!
Beth Holian loves books almost as much as she loves eating, sleeping, and coffee. In her spare time she likes to camp, hike, knit, watch movies, write, listen to music, and read! Her favorite things to do that she wasn't taught in school are sewing costumes, origami, and using rope to tie sticks together to create a picnic table.
Lauren Sidle is a 1st grade teacher, and when she's not reading The 3 Little Pigs to her class she loves to read 'tween books! She learned to play the ukulele from a book, and is now looking forward to reading about how to improve her snowboarding moves. She tried to use a book to help her train her old dog, and that didn't work, because as we all know, you can't teach an old dog new tricks!
